On behalf of the San Antonio Police Officers’ Association, we are proud to congratulate Luz Elena Chapa, Lucy Adame-Clark, and Cesar Garcia, three exceptional candidates who earned SAPOA’s endorsement and trust of the people of Bexar County during the Primary Runoff Election on May 26.
SAPOA’s endorsement process is guided by one question: which candidates are best positioned to support public safety and pursue justice for the citizens of our community?
- Luz Elena Chapa, Bexar County District Attorney: Chapa’s election marks a turning point for Bexar County. Her commitment to community trust, transparent communication, and a collaborative relationship with the men and women on the front lines is exactly what the DA’s office needs. We believe her leadership will repair the relationship between law enforcement and the DA’s office while restoring accountability and mutual respect.
- Lucy Adame-Clark, Bexar County Clerk: Adame-Clark brings the experience, dedication, and character that this office deserves.
- Cesar Garcia, Bexar County Courts at Law (Court No. 10): The bench demands fairness, experience, and a commitment to justice, Cesar Garcia delivers on all counts.
These wins belong to our members, families, and the community we have proudly sworn to protect. Every endorsement SAPOA makes is a reflection of the men and women who put on the badge each day. We have seen what a united front can accomplish, and these victories are proof.
We are grateful for every candidate who trusted us to stand beside them, and we are excited about what comes next!
With pride,
Johnny Perez
